Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

CodeShift ("we") runs this website. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit and how it is used.

Translators run in your browser

Text you type into our translators is processed on your device; we do not run a server that receives or stores it. So that results can be shared, the text is also copied into the page address (for example ?text=…). Page addresses can be recorded by your browser history and, when analytics or advertising is enabled, by those services as part of normal page-view data — so avoid typing passwords or other private information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It collects pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising

This site is supported by display advertising (when enabled). Our advertising partners and their vendors may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads, limit repetition and measure performance, including ads based on your interests. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states) you will be asked for consent or given the option to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information through our partner's consent tool.

You can learn more about and control interest-based advertising at aboutads.info, networkadvertising.org and Google Ad Settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising. Contact us at hello@codeshift.pages.dev.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change.
